1 ounce (2 tablespoons) simple syrup or maple syrup
Sparkling water, to serve
Crushed ice, to serve
Preparation
Place the mint leaves in a shaker. Blend 4-5 times to extract flavor. Add the lemon wedges and mash again.
Add the whiskey and simple syrup and fill the shaker with ice cubes. Shake until cool and strain into a glass. If desired, add a little sparkling water. *Serve with crushed ice.*
